I would buy a G37 tomorrow if....

You can't just take an off the shelf product and slap it on their. You have to consider that we have a relatively new motor that to my knowledge has never been supercharged before. There are going to be some R & D cost associated. I think that GTM said they spent $500,000 developing their turbo kit for the G37. Even at $8000 a pop, they will most likely have to sell 150 units just to break even.
How many GTM TT G37's do you know of, because I'm sure their aren't 150.
If some company was to pop the cherry however and develop an economical kit that only needed a slight fuel system upgrade and reflash device to run, they might be able to sell them more effectively than the $15000 tt upgrade. I think the magic numbers for our car would be 450 HP for under $7000.

I'd hate to bash you, but may you please respond with facts, or atleast, opinion? I mean you are calling someone out and running away.
Even though I am not the originator of that post, I have to say If I can get a TT setup for ~$5k or a Supercharger setup for ~$3k, I'm in.

I don't know what I'm talking about either but I don't understand the original poster.
If you want the G get it. The car comes with 330 hp so unless you're racing that will match or beat the majority of cars out there.
If 330 is not enough there are several cars out there that come with bigger ponies. I looked at a Vette yesterday and it's a monster.
SO I don't get the point of the thread. The G37 makes 330 hp. Enough for me but not for everyone.

I'm not willing to step down in power from our supercharged 350z nor play the SMOG games with a turbo solution

i always like n/a power better than f/i. although a s/c does have a nice linear power band.
i was thinking your z runs what, high 12s-low 13s? with bolt-ons, the g37 should be able to do that.

If you think that is all that is involved, hire a shop to do the fab work... you want something that's carb certified, and for some reason you think that's free. There's R & D dollars involved, if you're denying that, you have absolutely no idea what your talking about.
