5AT to 6MT switch

I bumped into a 6MT TT'ed G35 coupe on the road today.. now G's dont come in 6MT to the UAE and that was why I had to stop him.. after having a look at his G and watch him burn that clutch around the roundabout .. In one word.. ORGASMIC!.. so now im considering replacing my AT tranny with an MT.
Is it feasible? and how much would it cost me?

I've never done this before so I have no clue about it but im guessing id have to make some extra room for the clutch pedal.. replace the **** of course (and no im keepin the paddles coz they look good lol).. reflash the ECU for 6MT settings what else am i missing?

your feedback is much appreciated...

cheers,
Sam

My guess would be about $10K to 15K or so... Not an easy thing to do... I switched my brother's 69 Nova from AT to a Muncie 4 speed and it was no joke... Lots of things to consider... I would imagine it being 3x harder on a G though...

Save your money and TT the sumb!tch... Just be sure to beef up the AT...

Yea just beef up the AT and you should be fine to TT. The GTM kits are made for both MT and AT.

It's sad to hear that the 6MT didn't make it to UAE. I guess the easiest way is to sell the car and import one from US , CA maybe? after technosquare tunes it of course.

Shipping is not all that much and you can register the US license plate in UAE...it's also left-hand drive unlike other Asian countries and the costs of modifying the 5AT can be steep given also that the clutch pedal needs to be from left-hand drive car

2009 Euro model would be expensive due to local taxes.
