took my 08 coupe in to the dealer because of a funny knock sound from the rear end. Dealer said there was a TSB for the rear end. they fixed it in a couple hours.

the dealer said it had something to do with the axles. and infinity has factory kit to fix the problem. the dealer finished the work in about 2 hours. im not sure what the kit looks like or what is in it.

 

was the knocking sound after u've parked ur car or while ure driving?

 

i have the same problem. its an on and off thing, ofcourse when i took it in, it wasnt making the sound, but it sounds like a metal on metal contact.

 

the sound came right when you let the clutch out, as soon as load was put on the rear end. some times when you put the car in reverse and with it still slightly rolling backwards let the clutch out in first. but now that its fixed, I don't hear anything. there is a TSB issued, so call your local dealer and inquire about it.

 

well im auto, but i want to get it fixed its annoying me

 

Is that only on manual trans or auto too? Cuz i havent heard of the noise. i bought my car 11-14-07 almost one year.
