question about DS

Really rung the car out on a twisty road in DS the other day and amazed at how telepathic the shifting is in DS.

Quick question- if I came into a corner too deep and had to quickly break hard, the car downshifted with high revs (appropriate for the gear) and seemed to hold for awhile- until I hit the gas which it then upshifted. I assume this is normal- yes?

yep, it's fun... it's trying to match the shifts with your driving patterns. if your coming hard and fast into a corner, then brake hard, it's going to help you downshift and get you ready to come out of the corner equal to how you went in, hard and fast. when driving aggressively it's great fun and and begs you to drive faster.... but when you really want aggressive driving behavior, the paddles are key.... the DS does a great job but paddles put you in a direct link with the car.
