You are not comparing apples to apples. This G37TT will run any r35 on the highway any day. On a road course is a different story. I didn't build this car for the road course. $40,000 car +($18,000 in Mods) vs a $80,000 car. The G37TT will take a GT-R on the highway and a GT-R will take a G37TT from a dead stop, so now your one for one. both are beautiful cars. Its just your perference on what you like and want.

im sorry but you guys are seriously losing it. the G37 could have 600hp and it still wouldnt be in the same universe as the GT-R.
the gt-r out corners pretty much anything money can buy. the gt-r is an exotic killer
the TT G37 is sick but being compared to a GT-R. no sir, please put the pipes down and step away

First, no one is saying that a TT G37 is "in the same universe as the GT-R." It is abundently clear to everyone that it is not. Simple fact....this guys boosted G37 looks great and now has crazy power.
Second, I'm pretty sure everyone is aware of the GTR's superior tracking abilities. Nissan made an awesome car that is worth every penny.
Third, no one is really "comparing" this boosted G37 to the GTR. It was simply -- and clearly -- pointed out that this is a good "alternative" to those that cannot afford (or choose not to) a GTR at this point in their lives.
Peace

Very well said, the GTR is priced very well for what it is, but from what I've heard and read, you can ONLY get 15 launches on the stock transmission before it needs to be replaced. There's a lot of things Nissan did to track wear and tear and abuse to the car, personally I think it's overkill.

Thats rediculous! I'd take myself a gtr over my g. Did you see that one thread a while back where the g37 was next to the gtr? It looked so wimpy and tiny in comparison...
a GTM tt g37 on the other hand justt may sway my vote ;]

Boosting the G and getting 500 rwhp for an additional $13,000 to $18,000 is a pretty good alternative. Just my 2 cents.

maybe you used the wrong word but a boosted G isnt an alternative to a GT-R. an alternative would something like a z06, a used turbo and some other cars but no matter how you slice it a boosted G isnt an alternative
imo
but can we please get some vids on dyno and street of the GT37 TT
