big problem with car any ideas what it could be??

ok so me and my friend were driving our cars around he has the new m3 and im in the g37 we drove each otheres cars and alll and i let him do a donut in my car.... after the donut something wierd happened... the steering wheel will only turn when i rev the engine or am driving but if its in Drive and im not giving it gas i wont turn as if it was in neutral with the car off...... any ideas what it could be and what i should do?... also its a lease and only 3 months old ..... do you guys think the warranty will cover it?

My guess is he messed up something with the power steering pump.. Check the fluid level... If its low/none, then take it to the dealer and get it fixed... Warranty should cover it... Don't tell them about the donut story either... Oh yeah, and smack your friend across his teeth...

most likely he triggered somethign in the power steering controls.
shoudlnt be that big of a deal!
happened to my friends C class when we did doughnuts in a parking lot and the powersteering did not work after we had to drive it to the stearlership wit no powersteering.
most likely ull get covered.

It's most likely a powersteering failure. The warranty should cover it but don't tell the stealership that your friend was doing donuts in it... and BTW whytf would you let your friend.. not any friend but a BMW driver do donuts in your new car? Go smack him across his teeth then smack yourself across your teeth for letting him do donuts in your G.

^ LOL while you are at it, make sure you take a video of the Smack Fest!

Good luck with the power-steering though! Shouldn't be a big problem! Definitely covered.
