thanks terry... that's exactly what mike told me too... but I thought he mentioned the revs being able to be brought up higher I miye be wrong tho cuz that was rite after he took me for a ride in his S2K CR... mite've been a lil demented after the ride... that CR is friggen nuts! heheh...

WoW... this thread is flirtin with being WACK... If you are soo worried about launchin your G that bad... go trade it for a 6MT....
Otherwise.... just slam on the gas and be satified cause you will jack your tranny/drivetrain the very FIRST time you do this neutral drop ...

Apart from that you're just forced to have all packages, black interior and a 5AT tranny
im waiting for the 370Z to come out in order to trade in. Then it'll be welcome home 6MT!!

the launch mentioned doesn't work. We don't have some special launch control. I tried all methods. My best results were in DS mode, holding break and launching from about 1500 to 2k.

The procedure I found IS NOT launch control. It seems to be a method to temporarily increase line pressure on the brakes which just allows you to rev higher during brake torque.
