Oil Consumption on G37

Okay... May I don't drive like that, but I do drive it aggressively when safe to do so.

I was at the Dealership today to discuss the Oil Consumption issue on my G since the level indicated about slightly more than a quart consumed in 2000 miles since the last change. (probably more given that it was overfilled and showed full 1500 miles ago)

Anyways, There's apparently a new Bulletin out for the HR engines just a few days ago that requires Ester based oils that run at about $11-12 per quart. Semi Syn oils burn away too fast given the high rpms, compression and temperature.

Probably explains why Motul 300V does not drop in level. Nissan carries an OEM oil that is also ester-based supposedly.

I was told that I will get a free oil-change next time
