booooo! whats the point of posting dyno #s without having a baseline?? thats weaksauce! every dyno reads different and esp dyna packs which always read high no matter what. you should hop on a dynojet and get back to us with sum numbers.

seems bone stock 280-290whp is about right.

So should I not bother too much, then? I was gonna drive over to my sister's house tonight to get my scanner so I could post up the dynos asap. If not, I can just do it over the weekend.

I agree. the only dyno I've ever used is a 248 dynojet, set to sae correction factor, smoothing 5. If I don't see that, i've got no reference point personally. actual, std factor, or a different dyno type alltogether like a mustang dyno or dynopack, i have no clue what to make of it

Tadashi worked on my Z...he really knows his stuff. If you dynoed at technosquare their dyno is a superflow (but can be corrected to read like a dyno jet)

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I suggested the idea of a dyno day where I could get my car on a Dynojet for a decent price, along with any other 37s that wanted to get same day/same dyno readings. I'm kinda interested how much the HP would vary from one 37 to the next.

If anyone's interested, I called a shop called MD Automotive in OC that can give a bit of a discount if we can get 5 or more peeps that want to do some baseline dynos. Here's the site: http://www.markdibella.com/dynojet.htm

My uncorrected numbers were 280 whp and 218 ft-lbs torque. Yeah, cvt's right, it was a superflow dyno (I'm not too familiar with them). Tadashi says it's a superior dyno to use for tuning. Something about being able to control the specific amount of load on the drive wheels for the different amounts of throttle input (or something like that). But don't take my word for it, since I probably messed up the explanation horribly.

DieselDoug saw some solid gains on the dyno run he did with just a reflash and exhaust.

You should see gains, but I would definitely wait until you get more mods, just so you don't have to waste more money on another reflash.

On the upside, it's alot cheaper if you get them to reflash it the second time.
