nitrous ne one???
ok so i was talking to my pops and i told him how slow my car is... hes oldschool, he said to spray 100 shot in it. he said if his datsun 280 could hold a 150 shot my car can easily hold 100. gimme some feedback/advice. and if ne one knows the correct jet sizes for a wet shot lemme know!!!!

ye i have a 2003 mach1 on bottle also but its on a 250shot. i dont think 100 shot would hurt. especially if its a wet kit.

I don't think the 240 z & our car has even close to the same compression.
I was told nitro is a no no on our g's.

100 is not that big of a shot, although with the high compression it would be a gamble dude, unless its under warranty and you blow something up and can hide any and ALL evidence of the squeeze, I would just be happy with what you got!

found these on the web from many different sites:
QUESTION Can I simply bolt a nitrous kit onto my stock engine?
ANSWER Yes. NOS manufactures systems for virtually any stock engine application. The key is to choose the correct kit for a given application; i.e., 4 cyl. engines normally allow an extra 40- 60 HP, 6 cyl. engines usually work great between 75-100 extra HP, small block V8’s (302/350/400cid) can typically accept up to 140 extra HP, and big block V8’s (427-454) might accept from 125-200 extra HP. These suggested ranges provide maximum reliability from most stock engines using cast pistons and cast crank with few or no engine modifications.
QUESTION Can high compression engines utilize nitrous oxide?
ANSWER Absolutely. High or low compression ratios can work quite suitably with nitrous oxide provided the proper balance of nitrous and fuel enrichment is maintained. NOS kits are used in applications from relatively low compression stock type motors to Pro-Modifieds, which often exceed 15 to 1. Generally, the higher the compression ratio, the more ignition retard, as well as higher octane fuel, is required.
from what ive gathered a 75 wet shot would be safe.
and i dont understand why some others say boost is better than nitrous solely based on the compression...u can damage ur motor just as bad w/ too much boost just as if u had to big of a nitrous shot.

I have thought about doing this just not sure yet. It is a good way to get cheap/reliable power and as long as you don't go overboard and the install is corrent, you shouldn't have any issues. Anyone who says this is bad for the engine and you will have additional cost is not entirely incorrect BUT there is cost involved whenever you add additional power like this. Personnelly I would say this is safer and cheaper to do than to Supercharge or Turbo your car. If it is done right and you limit the shot, I wouldn't worry.

im looking for quick easy power. not only tha but compare 500 dollars to 5000 and nitrous is def the better buy. no offense.

not too fast, i just want a bit more hp. like 100. lol. and the tq gains are gonna be nice too. that 40mph roll on my car is gonna be dnagerous!!!! IM CALLING OUT ALL THE CHIPPED 335s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
