Advanced Auto Parts got a great deal on Fully Synthetic Mobile 1 oil....5 qts and a Mobile 1 filter for 26 bucks!...

Nope... Just oil. You won't see any difference. It's all about the long term benefits to your engine.

Well.. Maybe I said that wrong. Oil isn't "just oil" but you're not gonna realize any performance impacts in the short term from using snake oil vs synthetic.
