I have to admit the rods and pistons look pretty durable when it comes to forced induction in our motor. The only downside I would see is the high compression when upping the boost to double digits. I could be wrong, but 450whp could be easily and safely daily driven with a nice twin turbo setup, it's all in the tune.

Can't wait to see what this car is going to be pushing.

I wonder how much the 5AT can handle? I saw that they have upgrades on the GTM website, but I am talking bone stock Tranny. TT in DS mode

I wouldn't say anything more then 350 - 380whp and that's with a tranny cooler.

Head mechanic at Infiniti told be when they sent him to Japan to learn about the car that there was a guy running close to 500whp stock internals and stock 5AT. Not sure how accurate that is though, just what i've heard.

Sounds unreliable to say the least. Until I see it with my own eyes. There's only one automatic transmission I would trust with that type of power and it's connected to a 2jz

Even the manual trans will need work because the stock clutch will start slipping at around 550WHp.
