Took my car in on Saturday and the service guy said they stopped replacing the mufflers/exhaust on the G's because Infiniti hasn't released any recall/tsb or anything like that.
I told him I'm not spending the money I am to have my car sound like it has coins/marbles in my muffler while I'm driving, and I'm 'not just gonna live with it'
He called the technician and obviously he heard the noise and they ordered me a new exhaust. Should come in 10 days I hope.....

That's wierd. I took mine in and had it replaced same day. Twice. We must be close to a warehouse. The tech listened each time and said needs to be replaced, not in stock, leave car maybe overnight. They always call that same afternoon and say it's ready. Noise gone.

Took mine in yesterday, and said the muffler will be in next week. We'll see what happens to my muffler experience.

Is this the Infiniti of Santa Monica service department by any chance.
Even though they said they would order me one, but it's on back order right now. I told him to order the one made after Feb. I just wanted them to check it while I was there for something else. I didn't even hear anything out of the ordinary, but they said there was a slight rattle and that it could get worse.

Yeah..my rattle is back too, they ordered another one, but it's on backorder now. She said it might be a few weeks.
