ECU tune finally done!!

The cost of the reprogramming was $550.00. Because I am local and brought my car in, he simply hooked a computer up to my ECU and didnt have to take it out. It took about a half an hour.
By the way, thanks DeiselDoug.

I'd be insterested too, but as you can see I'm from Puerto Rico, so the only way to do something like this will be removing the ECU and send it in.
My buddy and I are hungry to mod our new cars, but so far we are still waiting for everything, Injen CAI, Possible Injen Exhaust (We tried Fast Intentions but shipping and no Group Buy price because we just got our cars a couple of weeks ago, made it too pricey, $1475) and now the ECU, these 3 things are exactly what we want to do.
I'm not a Mod savvy but logic tells me that I should wait until I install every mod I want first and then work on the ECU tune. So assuming this is correct, then, is there someplace I can go to read how to remove the ECU?, I'm planning to have both of our ECU and send it Fedex next Day, or even going to CA with them to have them done, I still don't know, it all depends on the turn around timeframe.
I don't know if this has been posted but if I do the Fedex shipping, do you know how long will take to get both back to me? thanks in advance.

Since this program is fairly new to market, group buys are probably not going to be a reality for quite some time.
ECU reflashes were in the neighborhood of $595 before--they already cut the price down recently.
Lets not get into the debate here over price. If you dont like it, you dont have to get it. same goes for exhausts, wheels, etc.

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet but the new Import Tuner has a really good article about our cars and why bolt-ons aren't giving us what we want. The article is about our ECU's and explains why reprograming the ECU helps draw out the HP/TQ after installing your bolt-ons.
The jist of it basically says that you should put the bolt-ons you want and then go get the reprogramming to help the ECU "get along" with the new parts. Again, our engine is going to be very difficult without the reprograming.
The new Import Tuner has a bright yellow cover....ck it out if you are still undecisive about this. Tadashi from Technosquare is featured in this article.

To all that may be interested, Technosquare just finished the Reflash for the G37Coupe MT Prototype car. The car came to us already with a prototype HKS Exhaust (which includes downpipe and mufflers), but stock cats, stock headers, and aftermarket intakes were installed.
Got some good strong numbers throughout the entire band, and the car now pulls all the way to the new Rev limit, which is 500 more than stock (although on the graph, it doesnt show it, but it is.) Things changed were Timing, A/F, throttle control, rev limiter raise and speed limiter removal.
TechnoSq is quite happy with the results on this prototype car, this was done using 91 California pump gas. 324.9 rwhp, 250.6 ft-lb torque....
93+ octane states could see a little more with more advanced timing...
If you have questions, please feel free to PM me (i'll try to check back often) or you can email me directly.. Chezee350 at Hotmail.com.

those are very impressive gains, so 2k gets us about 40-50hp.. better than i offical thought but still 2k..(at least 2k)

I would pay just for this! Throttle response in this car sucks nvts. Like a schizo!

I know the numbers don't add up right. The plus 22 wasn't off the best pull it was off the third pull. The real question is on what pulls did the IT article take the readings. At Tsquare they did it after the car was warmed up not with a cold engine. I think I read before how someone did three pulls and the numbers were different there. I think they said the results got worse.
