Darting.

Darting.
I am wandering if anyone is experiencing darting behaviour from the car when on roads where there is a bit of an indentation (channelling) from the tires of heavy vehicles. Especially at high speeds the unexpected move of the car is scary. I did not have this behaviour when I had my snow tires on (But mind you I was not driving fast on snow covered roads either). It seems to happen with the original summer tires. My car is the S version with presumably stiffer suspension set up.
Do you think this is a suspension set up issue or strictly tire problem.

Yes!!!!!! Finally, someone who is having this problem. I think it's a combination of the wide profile tires and the summer compound. I've had situations where it's just down right scary the way the cars feels.

Well what buffels me is that the darting was noticeably less with the snow tires (on dry pavement). That is why i think it might be due to the bridgestone tires. Does anyone feel the behavior with other brand name tires

I just put on my summer wheels this past weekend, and have also noticed this behaviour. I didn't experience it along the same highway with my winter wheels on (Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25).

I had the same snow tires as you and they did not have this behaviour. Maybe it is the tires
