Yeah no sounds here, tell them to fix it and stop telling people its normal because they don't feel like looking into it lol.
but do you think it has anything to do with "burning my clutch since 12/26/07" lol j/k... BTW we have nearly the same car, got mine a week before you.

Yea. That's the attitude that's really gonna help Infiniti keep the loaner program in place. The more people beat on the loaners, the more expensive it is for the dealers to make free loaners available. One day, if it becomes expensive enough, they'll stop doing it. Then, we'll all thank you.

Hey GIGAPLEASE,
I have a 2004 350Z. For all intent and purposes I have the same engine and tranny as you (minor h.p. difference). It is a well known fact that this drive train has had it's problems. Early model trannys suffered with short lived syncros. On my car Nissan replaced everything from the flywheel, pressure plate, clutch, throwout bearing, pilot bearing and transmission under warranty. Even with all these new components the clutch still makes the noise that you discribe. It is the nature of the beast, get used to it. Now if you experience the clutch pedal not returning to it's rest position and is stuck to the floor, now you have a problem. I don't know the year of your car but the later year cars have a different throwout bearing design where the throwout bearing and the slave cylinder are the same unit. From what I understand there is a recall on some cars with this setup.
To sum it all up... if your noisy throwout bearing isn't causing any drivability problems don't worry about it, get used to the sound. It's the nature of the beast.
Bananas!
