i really want to see what the new ECU can do. I'm guessing part of the reason for more power is that its tuned for 93 octane or better?
so stock ecu is tuned to accept 89 and 91 but with a 93 octane tune it becomes mandatory to always get 93 and then the fuel burns more optimally at that rating correct? that seams to be a safe tune. like they say for every tune theres an opposite reaction usually - what's the downside to a 93 octane tune? lower MPG? more wear/tear on some parts, etc???
Yes i'll be posting pics as soon as the engine is done. It's a pretty crazy setup and you'll probably flame me for the validity and the function of the engine so just wait and see. Should be done by this wed. Just a teaser tho it's running the new HKS R33 twin turbos.
On a lighter note technosquare is a awesome company. They're the ones that designed the turbo kit for power enterprise for the Z33 as well as the ECU for it. Nothing but love for Tadashi-Sama.
