But you'd have the only G45 around most likely pushing over 1,000 WHp.

Not back yet, but so close it's killin' me. I was told about 2 weeks on the outside as of yesterday. They are fixing the boost creep by switching to slightly larger turbine housings on the turbos. The HR apparently dumps a huge amount of exhaust near redline giving the internal wastegates some trouble at high RPM.

Hey guys, new member here.

The VQ37VHR will be in the new 370Z correct? How can you boost an engine with a CR of 11? That just seems unheard of to me. I mean, is the rotating assembly forged? Is 8 psi considered safe? What is the max you would want to put on the stock block?

Thanks!

Not really sure what the limits are on the AT transmission yet. I have a transmission cooler and a valve body upgrade on mine. I was told my car will easily chirp 3rd gear now.

I don't think it's possible to put a real number on it because damage occurs over time. 1000WHp on the AT will work forever as long as one does drive with a lead foot, yet 400WHp on the AT may only last 6 months if the car is tracked and driven hard.

In my case, there is no advantage to building up the AT internals now, or later if/when it starts slipping.

I don't think GTM has had time to play with their shop car, but I believe those were the numbers they mentioned for the stock block.

I was wondering if the internal gates were going to creep at all. Seems like alot of power and revs to be pushing on a t3 internal gate. I have been talking with sam and am getting everything in line to send my car down there in the spring. THanks for taking the lead on this, hope you get the car back soon!

I've been driving it. All I can say is

Blitz boost controller works great. Low setting of 0% lets me run at 5-6 psi which is still enough power to spin the 285 tires through 3rd gear. The shift kit has been solid. High setting takes it up to about 9-10 psi for 470WHp as dynoed earlier. No more creep with the bigger turbine housing. No noticeable lag and very smooth acceleration all the way to redline.

From a dig, there is simply no way to get good traction with the VDC off. I noticed some noise coming from my front suspension so I took it to Riverside Infiniti to get checked out. Mike was working that day so I let him take my car out:
