Here's what they say about my local Pennzoil. (Terrible, ex-convicts, going thru your personal belongings, recommending stuff you don't need, not doing their "full" services, etc etc.)

Don't use them... Regardless if they do it right, many use recycled oil. Not to mention the numerous stories of them not changing the filter, putting the incorrect amount of oil in, not allowing all the used oil drain, etc. Best bet is do it yourself or take it to the dealer.

My G is leased, does that mean I have to take it to the dealership to get it serviced? This is the 1st time I've leased a car and Infiniti has called me about 5 times reminding me that my first service is almost due even though I only have 2600 miles.

Rambo,

Be aware that service is called for every 3750 mile OR 3 months, whichever comes first. As for the phone calls, they just don't you going elsewhere.

Definitely go by the maintenance schedule with a lease... 3750 or 3 months. If you don't use Infiniti, use some reputable, and keep you receipts.

I've hear horror stories (non-Infiniti) of what people have been charged when turning in a lease car.

free oil changes for life at my dealership. all part of their customer satisfaction which for me already resulted in repeat business.

I'd never get my oil changed at those place regardless of my car. For my 330 I bought an extractor and did it myself.

Tires Plus up here did an oil change and rotation on a Nissan Murano the other day, the forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the wheel, so the wheel flew off and the body of the car has a ton of damage on it where it dragged on the road. It caused quite a scene on the road and made the news.

Hey I have an oil change question. It has now been a couple days over 3 months since I bought my car, and I got a service call saying it may be time for an oil change. But my car only has 2100 miles. Should I wait on it, or get it done now?

Quick Reply: 10 minute oil change (SpeeDee, Pennzoil, jiffy lube)?
