Does your 6MT shifter rattles at high rpms?

Does your 6MT shifter rattles at high rpms?
Read about this on an Edmunds review, but hope it was an isolated incident. That's one of the things that bug me a lot on the GTO. Hope it's not a RWD idiosyncrasy, but since most shifters are 'remote' (as not seated right on top of the transmission), and require a lot of moving parts, it's certainly possible.
Anyway, please elaborate all you can. On my car, it rattles depending on engine load and revs. Under heavy throttle it starts around 3800/4K rpms. It used to be well before that, but it was the ****. Now I know is the shifter for sure because I drove it without the **** (replaced under warranty).
The car has so much power I rarely go there, but with the much rev happy VQ37, I want to make sure it's not an issue, because it'd certainly detract from the fun. I'd test drive the car before writing the check, but wouldn't hammer a new engine to find out, hence this post. I've had many RWD (DOHC V8) cars before, but all auto until now.
I just want to make sure it's not a 'normal' issue. Well, it might be for remote shifers, but the G37 seems to have the tranny well forward and below from the ****, which means a linkage and not a remote shifter, right? But that review has me worried. Comments welcome folks. Thx.

I'm talking about rattling NOISE. Problem with my car is shifter is not directly connected to the tranny, so it requires linkages. Seems the G37 is the same way. Any slop and you have a rattle. Just want to make sure it's not a common occurrence on these cars. Thanks for your help.

I didn't want to hammer the G37 I test-drove, but got it up to 4,500 rpm briefly, and no rattles. The problem usually arises with larger throttle openings though. And in my car showed up after a few thousand miles.

Would you care to elaborate (rpm, throttle opening, HOW LOUD, etc)? Thanks man.

Hey, where's that youtube video you talk about? Or just a key word so I don't have to search forever. Thanks.
