Intake & Exhaust before break in, or wait?
The long awaited arrival of my new ride is the stable and I’m ready to install some of the parts I have acquired in the interim. I friend at work told me that I shouldn’t add anything to the engine until the 1200 mile break in. It seems to me that the computer will auto adjust to correct any air fuel mixture changes. Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated

Duh... Thats what I get for Scanning instead of reading...
With that in mind... umm... its personal preference...If you believe in the break in period... then wait ... If you dont believe in the break in period put them on.
Me myself...I dont buy in to the break in stuff... so Id put it on...

I personally waited for my first oil change duration... I had a freeby from the dealer so took it there. Also figured after 3000 miles it was good to let them see the car stock and make sure everything was working 110%, then I started modding. Actually that was the longest 2.5 months I have had.... now I can't stop modding..... am checking Stillen, Nismoshop and all the usual suspects daily looking for new parts to be released.
So far I have only done a Stillen intake, and gone a bit wider on the tires, but am looking at exhaust and sway bar sets as we speak.

It's nothing radical, so it doesn't matter IMO, but once you change BOTH intake and exhaust I wouldn't assume the computer would take care of everything. And even less with new 2008 emission standards. The ECU has VERY TIGHT parameters, and with new engines running borderline lean, you can easily cross the line with a simple intake and exhaust change.
I'd hook up my car to an EGA (exhaust gas analyzer) after driving at least 100 miles with the changes, and let an expert decide if it's okay, or you need a tune (which I know nothing about on these cars). Good luck.
