Super charged G37.....

I agree with you, but logical thought would tell you what he meant or was under the impression of. No need to ridicule him, even though his thought process is a little lacking. The fact that he came onto the forum boasting about it like a kid and trying to shoot down the Bimmer, was lacking in itself and should have dictated the train of thought. Just my .2 cents

A TT would have no advantage to a SC with a stock setup. You would only be able to run a very small amount of boost without lower internal compression or you would hear booms from all of the G37's running TT kits with 14 lbs of boost! A SC will give you the 4-6 lbs of boost that would most likely be somewhat safe to run on this engine. Once you enter the TT world, you might as well start replacing injectors, internals etc. Why bother...just go get a GTR with the extra money you'll dump in the G37.
If you run your stock engine on a low boost 8 psi or below and conservative tune (Twin Turbo) it will be safe.

So, where is the advantage in the TT setup?! Did you read my response? I said you could only run low bosst which would not be advantageous to a SC. The advantage of the TT setup is greater boost ability, but you cannot take advantage of that until you lower compression, H20 injection etc. If you are not willing to modify that much, then why go through the added expense of two turbos and two IC's to only run the same boost that you can essentially get out of a slap on SC? So much easier and efficient to just slap on the SC without having to worry about running extra oil lines, exhaust restrictions through the manifolds etc.

I agree with you, that is exactly what I told them. Finically speaking it does not make sense. Actually my G37S is already for sale, I looking at the new M3 or the GT-R.
Take care,

That prototype supercharger looks good, but how are they handling intercooling needs on a high compression engine like ours?
