We haven't seen any supercharger hoods yet, just the carbon-fiber Seibon. Anyone else seen any aftermarket hoods for SC's yet?

here we go again. First off the G37 DOES NOT MAKE 344HP I have dynoed 4 personally at my shop and the highest so far was last week and 291hp. So if you add 100hp thats 391 not 444. The stock motor is not going to hold 500hp everyday very long. Can a 335 do that? no your right because its twin turbo'ed not SC as we are dicussing. The 335 can make 500 without modding the motor. Thirdly a single turbo conversion if going to be costely on a 37 due to the dual intake system. You would need to have a whole new intake plenium made with a single throttle bottle. Which is just a waste of money on this car.
291 to the crank?! Thats rather low, no?
Opps, just saw a response about at the wheels.

From experience with an Audi and a chip.. Although it did increase my HP by about 40, it also caused about 40,000 problems with my car. It was constantly being towed cuz it was always misfiring, I cracked the turbo (1.8T), MAF sensors reaplced 3 times, ughh I could go on.. I don't recommend doing this. Fortunately the dealer I bought my car from (300 miles from my house) was nice enough to replace my turbo and take care of some other problems (Tampa, St. pete, Orlando dealers) would not. Stay away from the CPU Chips, especially with German cars.
Hahaha, thats just a normal Audi for ya!! LOL Worst of the German cars IMHO!

I dont recall him differentiating between to the crank or wheels. Honestly, when he said 344, I logically assumed he was referring to the crank and in that case, his projection of 444 maybe 500 was on par with his point, although maybe a little far fetched or stretching.

A TT would have no advantage to a SC with a stock setup. You would only be able to run a very small amount of boost without lower internal compression or you would hear booms from all of the G37's running TT kits with 14 lbs of boost! A SC will give you the 4-6 lbs of boost that would most likely be somewhat safe to run on this engine. Once you enter the TT world, you might as well start replacing injectors, internals etc. Why bother...just go get a GTR with the extra money you'll dump in the G37.
