Do not use the Infiniti supplied fuse puller
Hopefully this will save someone else some grief.
I had to check all my fuses yesterday (DRLs would not work) and there are two places in the G37 where they are located.
The first is under the battery cover in the engine compartment.
The second is to the left of the parking brake down by the driver's legs; those are a pain to get at.
The owner manual says to use their "fuse puller" tool to remove and insert their fuses. ** WARNING : DO NOT USE THEIR TOOL, use needle nose pliers instead.**
Their tool is useless. It does not grip the fuses enough to keep ahold of them. It dropped one down the sidewell when I was pulling it out.. gone forever. Needle nose pliers are way better. Good thing they also supply a few spares.

Either you are somehow using it wrong or yours is defective. It works perfectly for me and I pulled every single fuse with it. It actually prevents you from dropping the fuse inside the kick panel if you use it right. Just don't let them slide out of the open back end.
