Journey's auto, not a stick shift. + paddle to upshift, - paddle to downshift. Maybe you can try upshifting around 3krpm.

If you have the Journey, you don't have a stick shift car. It's an automatic.

So press tha gas pedal till rpm reaches 3k then upshift one time?... but I thought redline was 7,800? can't I take it up to that then shift? I'm not a sunday driver u kno!
Now what is down shifting? is that coming to a stop? when or at what rpm can I down shift?

You can't be serious are you? It's an automatic!!!! Paddle shift whenever you want, there is no clutch. The only thing you have to watch for is bouncing off the rev limiter.

what do u mean bouncing off the rev limiter? do u mean red lining? will paddle shift increase the performance of my car? speed and 0-60 times and stuff like that?... so u mean to tell me I can't wear the car out by paddle shifting? I don't wanna BLOW THE F'ING EGINE!

^^That's what I was thinking. All I'm saying is using the paddle shifters is easy. The car will let you hit the rev limiter without upshifting for you. I probably wouldn't do this repeatedly, but you will not blow the engine.
