No, you can get sports package on Journey model (which is a 5AT), that's when thay add the 19" wheels, big brakes, tight sport seats, stiffer suspension, and of course, paddle shifters.

OMG. I was hoping when I traded in my Si and moved up to the G, I wouldn't have to deal with people like this....Wow...just wow. Check out his other post in Got G.....like the other poster said, this is why our insurance rates keep going up and up.

LOL If you are serious about this question, I would just fdrive in "D" mode and use the paddles to practice on occassion before you use the paddles in full manual mode. . If you get in trouble in "D" using the paddles, you can just stop pressing the paddles and the car will take over.

But if you get in trouble in DS then you will not get any help from the car.

Hopefully this is a honest question and the OP was just told something wrong by a salesmen trying to make a sale.

I honestly dont think paddles belong in a car like 37/5. If your going to put them in then do it right like the SMG from BMW, DSG from audi, or like what the GTR gets

Paddle shifters seem to be the trendy thing to do these days. I don't mind them, I use it to engine brake. I just find it really hard to believe that someone could be that clueless to mistaken an automatic car with paddle shifters for an actual manual car, especially since there is no clutch pedal.

Says he is a mail handler for the USPS and makes 75k-100k. Yeah right. Guess he isn't going to post on his myspace what his "supplemental income" is.
