Tchnosquare reflash for the VQ35HR...

Let's hope Tadashi has a volunteer lined up for a VQ37HR...

http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=307193&page=3

not bad gains on a 35HR 350Z with fujita intakes and nismo exhaust...15whp and 11lbs. of tq. over baseline!

just a peak at what technosquare has in store for the HR...i had their reflash on my 03 Z when i had i/e/h/p/sp and it was awesome!!

A Nissan dealer in West Palm Beach told me that the Nismo exhaust for the '07 Z can fit on the G37. I wonder if that's true and what the gains would be

Results look promising for the Reflash. What is pricing typically on these?

I also wonder if the Nismo Intakes would work on the G37.

pricing for TS reflashes were $595 for my Z (I think it's the same for every car)

i think this is the most important engine mod...reflashes/tuning devices. a lot of cars respond very little (if at all) to N/A bolt on mods...and lose power if it runs too lean (which is also harmful to the engine). a reflash gets you to the optimum a/f ratio plus better performance. the TS reflash did a lot of things for my car that was running lean with the N/A mods i had:

-higher rev limit to avoid fuel cut offs
-better throttle response by having the TB open 100% rather than 80% as configured stock
-better a/f which which resulted in better power
-eliminated the speed limiter (neat feature...but really, how many times are you at triple digits?)
-undectable to dealers (unless you told them lol)
-ability to be set back to stock
-ability to be reflashed for only $150

there was a bunch more but that was the gist of why i got it

let me tell you it was night and day after my reflash (which is why i'm so eager for a VQ37HR reflash to come out). my car used to hesitate and stumble because it kept pulling back timing because it was so lean. the reflash woke my car up and turned my car into a rocket...

maybe he is thinking of the 07 G35 coupe.. an extension is required and you have to cut and weld the tips longer...

the exhaust on the NISMO Z is just a muffler... like a greddy SP2... the rest of the exhaust is the same as any other 07 Z...

Oh ok thanks Jason. I guess the best thing would be to just wait for a proper aftermarket setup. The Stillen exhaust is nice but costs major $$$

That flash is sounding pretty sweet though! I can't wait.
