Tuning Course

Hi, has anyone taken an online tuning course? Wondering if any are good, mainly just for personal use. Would like to have a turbo setup one day on my g37.

Not free, but very informative: Evans Performance Academy (vhx.tv)

Note that you will have use UpRev or HP Tuners for a DIY tune - ECU Tek is locked down to dealers.

Evans teaches UpRev only, not much help out there for HP. There was a guy posting his tune experience on the HP forum, but something happened to the car, so he stopped mid-stream.

And there is a lot of info on Nissan 370Z Forum (the370z.com)

Hi, thanks for the info! Not free is fine, I figured as much for good quality. Have you used any yourself?

I am currently using the self tune version of UpRev. (EcuTek is superior in many ways, especially the app, but there is no self tune option for DIY'ers)

I started off by purchasing and watching Evans' series on UpRev. This really helped lay a basic foundation.
The forums on his site are also informative and if you post a question he typically responds in a few days.

I also had some help from an LS tuner, that was why we tried HP Tuners at first. But ended up with UpRev.

Another source is a book titled Engine Management - Advanced Tuning by Greg Banish, ISBN 978-1-934709-7-19
