I just got home from Kaizen Tuning with an Ecutek tune performed on my G37x.
I originally went in for an Uprev, but after discussing my car goals and driving habits, it seemed that Ecutek was the way to go.
The tune was performed on an all wheel drive DynoJet. According to the tuner, my car's tune is quite generous, considering it is basic bolt-ons only.
The feel of the car is different... chippier... more responsive... or it is all butt dyno... who knows! I like the way it feels and that is all that matters to me.
Next year: larger bore throttle bodies, CAI instead of SRI, better gearing... maybe we can break 300.

Thanks i will be visiting them soon!
I had Ecutek on my supercharged miata, loved it plus i had my whole kit and regret selling it when i sold my miata, don;t know much about Uprev but EcuTek has more features it seems plus easier to work with.
Im going with Ecutek no doubt

If you're asking what features are on Ecutek, you're being lazy. Go to their website and read up on the different features and paramaters changed/monitored.
Or better yet, just email them and ask. Don't rely on others to do your research.
I'm not going to install something just because someone says it's better than the other. Find out what suits your needs, then decide from there.
By the way, Ecutek doesn't support 08 ATs at all. 08 6mt is do-able, but with some extra work. It's not officially supported by Ecutek.

Are you sure, I was told if you leave the "tune" version on the car it will not flash over it" It locks the ECU" If you flash back to the stock ROM version the above will happen. happened to my then John V told me if I left the "tune version" on the ECU it wouldn't have been erased?
