As far as I know, Launch Control and Boost Control are not yet available on our platform. They are in the works but have not yet been implemented.

From what I have heard the same results can be obtained with an ECUTek tune as with an Uprev tune, the only advantage with ECUTek are the future options. ECUTek do have a pretty long history with Subi's, Mitsu's and even GTR's, so it all looks very promising.

Ecu-tek reps claim their maps have better ignition control over UpRev.

Boost, Launch & VVEL control are still under development as of the last time I checked on the370z.

Can you please make posts that are less emotional and more factual? What makes ECU-Tek so almighty and so much better than UpRev apart from the fact that it's on your Evo or coming from England?

What we need is real open source tuning. I tuned my Subaru and my friend's Subaru using RomRaider. I of course needed a wideband, but that's still cheaper than going to a shop.

Do you have the pre tune numbers??
If you ran 290 and 250 pre tune on the same dyno then that's not impressive.
If you ran 260 and 220 before the tune then it would be VERY impressive.

Ecu tek allows tuner full access to fuel /timing advance/ cam control/
They were instrumental in helping map the juke-r.

They seem to have ultimate control over all ecu timing/tcu.
As far as boosted cars go, I can't comment on the vvel.
They made some serious gains vs other tunes I have had done.

Comparing the uprev to the ecu tek was night n day.

Getting my G tuned on Wednesday at R/T Tuning with Ecutek.

The one big thing ECUTek has going for it over Uprev is the ability to adjust cam timing. Uprev has yet to nail that down. That should provide some additional gains when tuned over an Uprev tune. That and they'll be cracking a ton more ROMs in the future over UpRev.
