Dyno Sheet after mods
Hello,
In case you were interested here is a before and after shot of adding the following mods:
4.08 gear swap (not sure if that matters)
Gemini Invidia exhaust with ART pipes
Takeda Cold air intake
UpRev tune
94 Octane fuel (5% ethanol)
Base taken from original owner was 266hp @ 227 torque using same dyno
but of course not same driver or location. So take with grain of salt.
After:
296hp @ 245tq
I think thats about it before forced induction.... What more is really worth it?

nice!!
nothing much more unless you want test pipes. I have berk test pipes with the invidia exhaust and it sounds incredible. I dont know if you have a 6mt but i also went with an ACT clutch kit to handle more power and an Aasco light weight flywheel. Weighs half the stock one and I noticed a decent power increase

I gave up on NA 10 years ago. Manufactures are starting to figure out that FI is the the way to go! BMW and Audi are all moving to FI engines, everything from their 4cly to V8 engines, all supercharged and turbo charged. From a thermodynamic standpoint, FI actually increases engine efficiency.

I'm on the fence... I have to go buy a winter car first and then see where I'm at later this year. I think it would be a fun project to do over the winter. Keep it somewhat conservative boost and make it a reliable summer fun car. I do need to learn to handle this car first...

DJMAC,
Those are some good numbers. If your going to stay N/A Here's what i have done and here's my numbers on a dynojet.
325WHP/270WTQ (After mods) //// 275WHP/234WTQ (Stock)
2X Injen Longtube coldair intakes
Motordyne m370 intake manifold
Stillen Shorttube headers
Motordyne ART pipes
Stillen catback exhaust
Front and Rear sway bars (set at the softest setting for daily driving)
UPrev ECU tune
Jim Wolf Lightweight Flywheel (13LBS.)
Jim Wolf Clutch (Stage 1 I think)
Stoptek Slotted rotors,pads,steel lines.
Upgraded CSC
Upgraded tires to 255/40/19 and 275/35/19 Michelin Pilot SS
PST Carbonfiber driveshaft (14 LBS.)
- Planned 4.08 gears!!!
- Engine and Tranny mounts!
NOTE: I have had the dyno read 330WHP, but that was at 6am on a cold day. The above numbers are at 90 degrees in the afternoon. 5WHP is nothing much anyways.
Question, how are you liking the 4.08 gears? I have read many posts and I have heard nothing bad. I'm very excited to get them.
