For anyone else wondering WTF, NmexMAX is the 5th Gen Moderator on Maxima.org. The man knows the 5.5 Generation Maxima so well it's like he gave birth to it.

I too thank Rochester for clearing this up.
For me "the .org" represents InfinitiFX.org...since I'm still a member there and visited the site when I had my FX's!

Color me jealous, Zack. Good choice.

I don't think you'll dyno over 300 with just a catback, unless you leave out the filters again. But you'll probably get real close. Either way, it's going to sound and look awesome, and lay the groundwork for future mods.

I don't think I had ever looked at Fast Intentions before. Are they a pretty popular choice these days? That clip on their site sounded fantastic! And if there are some modest gains in hp/tq, then all the better. I may have to consider that cat back, myself.

Nice Run. I'm surprised you hit 160. Mine hit the limiter at 155.
I had higher HP reading then you did, but you had higher torque. My best was 292hp and 243Tq in my 2011 G37S 6MT.

Nice Numbers...My 07 G35 Sedan with Injen Cold Air Intake, Stillen Cat-Back, and FI HFC's....I got about 280WHP with the Back then Popular COBB AP Tuner...But all Dyno's are diffrent..But I'm assuming my VQ35HR Modded ...is making about same HP as a Stock VQ37HR Motors. Later will try to retune with UpRev and see if I get better results.

Coming from an STi, years ago, I'm all too familiar with the near-mandatory COBB tunes. Any idea why the bailed on the G cars? I'm guessing there was never enough headroom for their tunes, with the NA engines?

Because they couldn't do much with them and therefore nobody spent money buying the product. They dropped the VQVHR platform like a hot potato.

what gear did you dyno in Jude? 292 is really impressive. my first 2 runs with everything in as normal gave my 288whp and 247wtq avg.
