I thought I would post in this section since the car will be in shipped to TX.

I am thinking about selling my G35. I think I might have blown some piston ringlands and I don't want to deal with the modding chit anymore. Before I sell the car, I WILL HAVE IT SHIPPED TO SGP TO HAVE THE PISTONS REPLACED AND THE MOTOR REBUILT. I only have 5K miles on this motor as it is right now. After the motor is rebuilt I will have SGP tune the car to what ever power level the buyer desires.

Basically the buyer will be getting a brand new rebuilt motor that he/she can break in themselves. I have added almost every possible mod except a coilover set.

I am looking for $43,000. The car is fully loaded with Brembos minus NAVI. It is in excellent condition other than normal wear and tear and a few scratches that occured when washing the car. It is a 2004.5 with 25K miles.....black with black interior. KBB lists the car at $30,500 and I have over $40K in parts and labor. The car dynoed at 543whp and 490tq at 12.5psi on 93 octane. The motor was built by SGP and tuned by CPrace and Sharif. The only thing this car needs is a coilover set and to have the front bumper repainted due to some paint chips (lots of contruction in SFL and dump trucks on the road are always dropping small rocks).

damn bro, your car is a beast, I would of bought your ride, but I already bought a 05. It seems like ppl will mod their car til there is nothin left to do with it, then they get sick of it and try to sell it and get raped on the price. What will yer next car be if you dont mid me askin? somethin crazy? 911 turbo?

SGP is in Houston TX. They have a great reputation for building some of the badest VQ35's.

I did a compression test yesterday and it came back good. The guy that tuned my car (Sharif) thinks that I have blown the valve cover seal and oil rings on the driver's side and therefore oil is getting to the cylinders and fouling the plugs. I will have a leakdown test completed on monday to make sure the pistons are still good. Either way whatever it turns out to be, I still want to sell the car. I am not bored with it, but it is a cause for daily arguments with my wife. My next car will be a family car. I went to check out the Lexus GS300 last night.

My work is moving servers so my email is down right now. If I don't respond by email please pm here or my350z.com.

If it is just the vavle seals I will probably not ship the car to SGP for that. I will post tomorrow the results of the leakdown test and if I will be shipping the car. If I do ship it will be shipped around 11/15.

wow...good luck, bro. You're better off parting the car and selling the G NA...unless 300Z buys it as is. You'll get more money that way.

I am not concerned with getting more money.....just want to sell it. (This is not a call for lowballers either, I am not that desperate!)

I dropped the car off this morning for the leakdown test and the motor is officially BLOWN! Cylinder #1 had 22% leakdown and Cylinder #3 had 11%. We stopped there. I am making arrangements to ship the car to SGP to have it rebuilt and then the car will be sold! Lexus GS 300 here I come.

I had a leakdown test performed and cylinder #1 had 22% leakdown and #3 had 11%. We went no further. Most probably the driver's side piston ringlands gave. I don't know why.

The shipping company will pick the car up next Saturday 11/12. They were going to pick it up tomorrow, but I had already scheduled a complete Zaino detail for next Friday. It will show up in TX very shiny. Should be there before Thanksgiving.

it sucks to hear that Gman. My car is at SGP right now waiting for its motor to be put back in. Wehn i go in on nov 23rd ill make sure to look for it and make sure its still safe.

why the gs 300 and not the 400...oh yeah the 300 has the same engine as the non turbo supra...therefore giving you the option too add a turbo later...DUH!!! good luck selling...
