MSR is a very cool place, two weeks ago I got to take the car out on the track while my brother photographed the new Z06. It was cool having the track all to myself for a little while. Here are a few pics:

Okay, for those of you that will be racing on Monday, here's a quick list to follow before track day...
1. Change your oil if it's been longer than 2,000 miles since the last one.
2. Check ALL fluids to make sure they're were they should be.
3. Check your brake pads to make sure you have enough meat for the day.
4. Buy some painter's tape (NOT DUCT TAPE) and bring it to the track the day of...I'll show you where you should tape your car...also, it'll be used to put your number on the car.
5. Bring a helmet...if you do not have one, they can be rented at the track.
6. Wear pants! If you show up in shorts, or a dress MARK...you will not be allowed to race.
7. If you can, bring a small cooler with water and small snacks (like energy bars)...25 minutes going full throttle takes allot out of you physically.
8. Wear the proper shoes...running shoes are fine and if you have racing shoes, wear them. No boots and other foot waer that may get in the way of BRAKING!
9. Bring your COMMON SENSE...you'll need it.
10. Expect to have more fun than you ever thought you could in this car.
11. Try to arrive at 8am
12. Bring a jacket, it might be cold.
13. Remove all unnecessary weight from your car at home (i.e. floor mats, trunk mats)...DO NOT remove your spare or the tools at home...you can take them out at the track...I just rec the mats because you don't want them blowing around.

Oh man I was hoping I could get away with the oil change. I guess Friday I'll go get it changed and ask them to check all the fluids and stuff. I just got my tires installed yesterday, they look real beefy, my rims look tiny now. Hopefully I can get my brake kit installed tomorrow *Crosses fingers,* I really don't want to wait until Friday.....

P.S. When I was calling shops around for estimates on installation of the kit (Don't feel like stressing out Moog with the install) the first shop I went to quoted me $550 for install!!! The second shop quoted me around $150-$200, so I was pretty content with that. But then I decided to call this one last shop (redline in arlington) and they quoted me $75 for EVERYTHING (Rotors/Pads/Brake Lines/Fluid)!!! Not just that but they said it would only take like an hour or two to finish, while all the other guys quoted me 4-5 hours. Does this sound too good to be true?
