Thumbs up 4080 box

I think I'm going to order one this week. 4080 is located in Houston and advised me that they have an office in Addison that takes deliveries once per week. So if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll PM them to throw an extra one on the truck.

Wow! I didn't know 4080 was located in Houston. That changes my whole thought process. I never wanted to order a box online simply because of the shipping costs.

Hmmmm...... Gotta think about this one.

Actually, I know someone local with this box and he has a clean install of the eclipse avn2454. If you guys can wait, I can try to have him come out to Pasados or the next meet to see his setup. No promises though gotta call him.

Well, I saw and heard a glimpse of it (this was when I was interested in a G35 and didn't own one yet). I will do furthur investigating before our next meet or either we could have a mini meet just for those interested in the sub box. I'm sure he won't mind just gotta check his schedule. Anyone interested?

I hope I can post even though I'm in Florida. I have a JL 10w6v2 run by one Hifonics brutus 1500. I run 900W RMS to it and it absolutely pounds. This is the best engineered box I have seen for this car. It has a cool little tab that goes underneath the weatherstrip to keep the box secured(you can see the little metal tab in the forth picture). You don't even lose your backseat latch. I love this box. I've had it in for over a year I think and I get compliments on it. IMHO this is the only way to go for a sub in this car.

I feel the need to make yet another mod to my ride!!!! It looks really great for keeping space in the trunk. I would like to hear it myself. JL's need a lot of space to really sound good, the shape of this box just may allow what they need. That would really be cool! William are you really going to order them? How much and from whom? Group buy? I may be able to get us a good deal on the JL's

I'm going to order one for myself, awaiting on a response from 4080 himself as far as pricing. I don't need a sub, as I already have a 10" Phoenix Gold Titanium sitting in my closet.

So you're going to add this 10" sub along with your current setup?
