So you're going to add this 10" sub along with your current setup?

I have to talk to my installer. We were thinking about doing more work to my trunk. The thing is I like to have a trunk to use so I don't want any fiberglass to take up all my space. This might work covered in leather to match my current setup. I would just add 2 JL 10"

[QUOTE=TwoK4drSi]Also, whoever doesn't want to commit w/o seeing it in person first, lemme know so I can schedule with him for a mini meet. I too haven't looked hard into it but now that I have a G I am very interested.

I use to do competition stereo so I took it up to my friend and we did a SQ check on it using the IASCA cd and it sounded very good. The frequency response was a little flat at 300Hz but I guarantee if you are using signal pre-amp you will not hear the difference but if you are so inclined a new headunit would be nice. Another thing is that this is not typically what you consider a high level input. It is much lower than post amp.

What kind of LOC would be good if you're just adding two amps?

This unit makes it very easy.
Pac AOEM-Nis2
You can then run new wires for the mids and highs or use the stock wires where the stock bose amplifier is(drivers side trunk panel next to the spare tire. Hope I helped.

Glad I could help. For such a nice car the system leaves alot to be desired. Good luck. Somewhere around here or FreshAlloy they have the colored wiring diagram for the lines at the bose amp. It's pretty straight-forward. Enjoy the choons.

Sorry I have no experience with the non-blose stereo. Wish I could help. Anyone?

Run them back to your aftermarket amp. Signal out of the amp goes to the stock speaker wires or the new ones you put in.
