Hey guys,

I wanted to get my tint done here in the next couple weeks before it starts getting too hot here, and I want to go for about 20%, if you know of a good shop that will be willing to do it let me know, you can pm too if you'd rather, thanks,

Charlie

I went with the Huper Optik Ceramic Tint to cut down on the heat. It costs more than other tints but it works much better than anything else on the market.

3%...grubbs had alta mere do huper when i bought my car for free...crappy tint and crappy techs...they did it twice and still looked like crap, they heated the film up causing rainbow ripples. alta mere and car toys are 2 places i would never recommend to any member, just cause they give out free crap to some members i won't ***** myself like others do

We have over 400 members in our club and most do not post on the forums. I do receive emails from many talking about the good work they have received from the places that I recommend. If you or anyone else have specific examples to the contrary please let me know otherwise we are just talking about an opinion not a specific job. Opinions are welcome here but we all know what they say about opinions.

Opinions are like a$$Holes we all have them and they all stink....

That is a true statement. I do trust professionals to do my work, and if they do a good job for me and for other members I think that info should be shared. If they don't then they do not get any recognition. That's one reason we all joined this forum is to share our knowledge and experiences with others.

Sorry we have gotten off topic. Let us know how you make out with the tint.

I actually already got it done, went to z-tint, and i didnt get the huper, after talking to you at the meet and hearing it wasnt very dark and slightly greenish i decided against it, i wanted it to be fairly dark to match the car, ended up with 25 on the sides and 15 on the rear, and it only took them half an hour and was very reasonably priced
