New Tires Needed, Best Place in Dallas????????

Ok Dallas folks, I am needing new rear tires soon and I want to go a size bigger to 255/45/18 over the stock 245/45/18. I used to always buy my tires off of Tirerack.com but people tell me there are just as cheap places in town.

Any suggestions or recommendations on places to go locally for new tires?????

But before you do.................

I've been buying my tires from the TireRack for years
and have yet to find them cheaper anywhere else!
Plus you get a good selection from people that know
what will work on your car.

Thanks guys, their prices at Will's were great but they only had the Nankang NS-II tires in stock for my tire size. I decided to go with the Falken 452 models through Discount Tire, they matched discount tire direct's price!

you can always negotiate prices down at any discount tire. worth a shot. also there were some good deals on the BS Potenza S03 pole position 2s since those are going out of production. Discount can order them from their ware house for cheap (half off or something) . I got some from tire rack for 50% off and have them in the garage for when I need new tires.

most of the time they will not match their online price in the stores, at least that's what I ran into with them in the past. So i said i'll get them if he 'll match the online price eventhough there was only a $2 difference ($148 vs. $150)

I went with the Falkens because of the "Bang for the buck" factor. Reviews on these tires are great from all types of cars from family sedans to sports cars. I think they are awesome.

Look into the Cooper Tires next time. I'd drive on a Cooper tire before I ride on any fok'ns...lol You can get them super cheap also and personally they ride as well if not better than the pilot sports.

Were those Cooper tires that time we were at Motorsport Ranch? I think you were sticking the corner's a lot better than I. I was using Falken 451's at that time.

are those Cooper Zeon model tires by chance?

I got the Falken 452 models, the new model they came out with. They did a lot of revisions from the 451 model and most users loved the Falken 452. I'll have to put them to the test on my favorite off ramp and the next time it rains.

Please do not purposefully test your tires out in the rain. You don't want to hydroplane like me.

Wet pavement is saved for parking lots, not 635! There's an empty school parking lot down the road. I loved taking my 350Z there last year

Yep, yes sir...they were freakin awesome.....no blowouts (even with nails in them), last bout as long as the pilots if not longer. This is definitely the po' man's performance tire that actually performs.
