Remove Steering Wheel and Trim to Install a Rewrapped Steering Wheel
This is a compilation of information to make it quick and easy for someone to have the necessary tools to install a rewrapped or replacement steering wheel.
Since I make rewrapped steering wheels, I am typically asked for this information, and decided to make it available for all in one convenient place.

Feel free to also make this a show off of your new steering wheels!!!

1. Buy a rewrapped steering wheel from me , or tediously rewrap one yourself .
2. Follow this great DIY for removing the steering wheel:
DIY: Installing Sport paddles - G35Driver
3. Once you have the steering wheel off, you want to transfer your trim to the rewrapped steering wheel. This DIY provides excellent information how to accomplish this task:

4. Reverse the steps in the first DIY to reinstall your rewrapped steering wheel.
If you are interested in purchasing a rewrapped steering wheel, feel free to contact me through a PM. I provide a rewrapped steering wheel for you to install and send back your OEM wheel after so you do not have any downtime with your vehicle.

Hey I'm going to try installing paddles soon and wrap my steering wheel but I saw this part.
"Align the marks on the steering wheel and bolt and retorque the center nut to 25 lbs/ft."
How do i do that if I don't have any special tools lol

You just align the dash on the wheel with the dash on the bolt. It's really easy to see that they are aligned. I did not ever use a torque wrench when I installed my wheel and never had any issues - I just made sure it was tight.

I only disconnect the negative terminal (black). I wish you luck in your rewrap, but worst case I leave the offer open to help you out with a rewrap if it doesn't turn out how you hope.

The airbag light will come on, but you CAN still drive it. Once you plug the airbag back in, you will probably have to reset it so the light stays off.
