Wow, I'm impressed. Working with vinyl for all the angles and bends would be difficult!

Finally got this done, it's 3m Scotchprint 1080 carbon fiber auto wrap. I've done several vinyl projects so this one wasn't too bad. Snipers' grill pic helped quite a bit, took a couple hours. Glad to finally get rid of my plastidipped grill, stuff was just too tough to clean and easy to peel when rocks hit it. Next up is carbon mirror cover, rear valence and then painted headlights so I'll be removing those light overlays

Any tips on the grill? I followed your guide for the window trim, which was excellent by the way, and have also done the trunk finisher, so I have a little experience under my belt.

Glad the window trim DIY was helpful. Sounds like you've unlocked the mystery of working w/ vinyl. I just pulled one piece snug against the grill, adhered it to all the front facings, took the grill off then heated between the top slat, pushed in the vinyl as I'm heating to get enough to cover the slat, cut it along the slat and lay it down, then move to the next slat.

I decided to join the club. Did it myself, thanks to blnewt's previous trim write up. Gave me enough cajones to DIY my trim and now my grill.

Wow, that's clean. I have the same shaped grill and was concerned about how it'd look, but you've made me reconsider wrapping it in cf vinyl!
