Rhino Ramps x2 - front and rear

I don't yet have a set of jack stands that I'm comfortable with to place under the car. Need to build some sort of weld seam widget to place in between the jackstand and factory recommended jackstand point.

Advanced auto parts has a sale on the 12,000 pound rhino ramps at $25.xx after $30/$75 coupon (BIG30). Reg. $34.99/pair + some filler like work gloves, an oil pan, funnels, whatever other misc item you may need.

Had this idea, why not support both the front and the rear on the rhino ramps to do things such as diff oil, trans oil, engine oil, sway bars, etc.. Anything that doesn't require the suspension to be unloaded.

I picked up a set (2nd set will be shipped). Jacked up the front of the car with the arcan floor jack. The jack just barely fit under the front jack point - stock suspension. If the car was lowered, I'd have to drive onto something to have enough room for it to clear. Then, placed the rhino ramps into proper position under the front wheels. Lowered the car.

Examination of the @ss end revealed PLENTY of room to slide the floor jack under the diff to jack it up and place another set under the rear wheels.

Thoughts?

I was going to buy some rhino ramps but my G and my mustang are lowered so I was afraid they won't work. So I made some "home depot ramps" and here is the write up:
Mustangworld - Build yourself some ramps !

That's what I call a ramp!!!

However, my goal is to have all 4 corners off the ground.

Really? What about any jack stand makes you uncomfortable? They are jack stands. Place them under the frame rail and be done.

Contraption for "factory recommended jackstand point". Umm, put the jack under any appropriate jack point and jack the car. The only reason there is a factory recommended spot is for the cheap scissor jack.

Sorry, but this thread and all these contraptions to jack up a car has me

...I apologize if I'm misunderstanding.

Lol! The issue is not jacking the car, but supporting it.

Not too keen on using frame rails. Used that point once with my old camaro (4th gen), resulted in tweaking them.

Tweaked the frame from jack stands!? Something was not right. I really don't get it LOL. Jack stands are used thousands of times a day and have been used for decades. Most common and safe reliable way to support a car.

Jack car. Place stands under frame rail. Slowly lower.

I will say ramps have their place and can be convenient in certain situations. But stands would be the norm.
