I'd rather spend $150 to properly torque my lugs down then have to worry about my wheels falling off on the highway.

Harbor Freight has pretty good prices for torque wrenches if you are just looking for one to use on your wheels. I would not buy one there if I was planning on using it daily though. I bought one from them but can't remember the exact price, I believe it was on sale for under $50. They have a couple on sale right now for about $15

LOL! Harbor Freight is awesome for great deals on fairly decent tools. We have a store close and I have to stay away cause I can always find something there that I can't seem to live without!

Has anyone ever seen an air powered torque wrench? Imagine the benefits - speed and perfect tightness.

Air powered torque wrenches? They exist, but they're never right. Set it at 80, and you'll get somewhere near 80. Maybe 70, maybe 90, maybe 120 if you bump the regulator. Best thing, by far, is a good old fashioned manual torque wrench. Doing things too quickly can get you in trouble.

I have both the 3/8" and 1/2" torque wrenches from Harbor Freight and have been using them for years without any problems!

Just make sure to zero and lock it out once you're done using it. They are pretty cheap and are stated to be +/-4% which isn't bad. I torque to 85ft.lbs.

Oops lol when I first used it I didn't know what click-stop was so I ended up tightening wayyy past 85 ... I figured it was supposed to start slipping just like the air powered torque guns

Just bought one from a local harbor freight store. They have it on sale for 24 bucks for the Pittsburgh 1/2.

80 ft/lb for 2012 G37 per manual. And yes, I second the use of torque wrench. I bought it 7 years ago, and only use it when double checking after having new tires mounted, or installing secure lug nuts. Otherwise keep it safe in it's storage case. Still looks brand new, and it was not expensive for a precision tool.
