Your wire will be insulated to protect the copper, but there is a PVC woven sheath you can put around the insulation to guard against rubbing and abrasion. There's also heat insulation available if you want, I didn't get it.

Audio may be a little louder, but I haven't felt a difference in DS mode shifting or throttle response. I bet the Uprev tune will cure all THOSE ailments though.

Holy ****. Quoted the entire post and apparently didn't read ****, because it says so right on the first few pics. 8 gauge and 4 gauge.

Ordering 4 and 2 g copper post, the vendor wants to know what size ring / eyelet for when you ground it.

Was skeptical myself but shifts were drastically improved in Sport paddle mode. Thanks for the DIY

I made my kit with stranded cable, better conductivity, more pliable and stronger to boot. used the recommended cable size, 8 and 4 gauge also. I didn't go crazy with the quality cable and bought my stuff from home depot, and eyelets from a car audio store. I used shrink tubing to cover any bare cable to connector.

Audio in my car is better. Tranny shifting is better up and down. It is noticeable... Also don't wait for the factory recommended 105,000 miles to change your plugs. Incredible difference when all is said and done.

Doug
