Edit: Just to clear things up, I don't hate plasti-dippers, but people need to understand that it is not an "alternative" to having it properly done. As long as the user understands that it will never be anywhere near the quality of being done properly, then by all means, go for it. People who say "plasti-dip looks just as good as paint!" WRONG!

Because it only looks "decent" from far away. Then when somebody gets up close they see how terrible and bland the finish looks in comparison to a proper finish, they realize how easily people are easily cheapening out on their car with mediocre, IF that, products.'

One of the funniest posts I've ever read... you've gotta be kidding me. You, Sir, are an idiot. Doing it "right" or "proper" is based only on your opinion. Many variables go into what is "right" for any one person. PlastiDip can and does look just as good if not better as many flat back paint jobs... and one can revert back to stock when/if they want.
And I'm certainly happy to hear that you don't "hate" people for using PlastiDip... that would be absurd and just plain silly. But please post again, I could use another laugh!

So you're telling me that Plasti-Dip looks better than paint?
Right...
You cannot achieve this with Plasti-Dip. So keep believing in your half-assed accomplishments. Like I said, Plasti-Dip is fine...but don't ever compare it to paint.

Back to the topic at hand... for wheels, powder coating is superior to PlastiDip, but it's permanent and expensive. Painting wheels? Meh. PlastiDip is inexpensive, looks effing rad, and is removable... and easy to repair to when you curb a rim. PlastiDip FTMFW once again!
NO SOUP FOR YOU!

I would never use Plasti-Dip I with Stead. I'd rather buy a paint gun and paint and screw up ten times and then finally get it perfect and better looking than Plasti-dip would ever look, and be a lot more proud and happy with my work

We're not talking about painting body panels here (if that's even what you posted)... THE QUESTION WAS ABOUT WHEELS
