If it's something you'll use only very rarely don't go buy a $500 Snap On one. I looked at this one and have a friend with a G35 that has it and likes it.

^^That one should do the trick. I have this one and it's awesome, more power and little more pricey but comes in very handy.

HEW!!! got it installed now. sitting here with the grin in my face.. like cheesing out like fat kid with 3 levels of cake infront.

so, after i drove out from the muffler shop, i bought a real f'in big breaker bar with two more jack stands. total $40 from auto advance part.
desperate last chance. thinking to my self if it doesnt work, i am going to wait till y pipe+mid pipes get here and install all at once.
I get home get the car up, my shoulder is already in pain from all that pumping and twisting. Connected a adapter to my humongous breaker-bar because that square is little too big for 14mm.
then i sip on some monster energy drink and smoke a cigarette. went down on my car begged for it to work and BAM!! bolt just twist with "pop". i was happy, rest of 3 bolts came off with my pure muscle torque from p90x that ive been on it for few days. but now i cant take it off from the rear because of the black rubber mount. Tried spraying pb blaster wont work. Get angry again and my hairs falling out. so i went 'ultimate warrior' style from wwf in 1993. heavy *** muffler drops.

install was a cake. damn this thing sounds gooooood

anyway gon go take a shower..

Lol. I thought you were working on one if the really tough bolts on the cats! The muffler itself shouldn't have been that hard. I took it off with just a ratchet. Stay on the P90X He-Man. Glad you got it off. Don't even think of removing the cats if the muffler gave you this much trouble.

Nice. Good to hear it came off. I'm assuming you went with the Tanabe mufflers. Are you getting the Tanabe mid pipe too?

If you are contemplating high flow cats maybe this will convince you. This is with Tanabe mufflers, Ichiba Y-Pipe and Berks cats.

With every DIY project you do, use the money you save to buy yourself proper tools. Breaker bar... Air tools... bolt extractors... cut off wheels... these and others are well worth the expense and make future diy projects a breeze. Pretty soon, you will have a full complement of tools to handle any job, including the problems that are unexpected.
