Here is the DIY:

1) extend the telescoping and raise the tilt all the way on the steering wheel...it will reveal a small gap.
2) put your fingers through there and you can feel/see the ignition button assembly
3) press on the assembly to pop it out
4) once its out, take a small flat head and hit the clip to unclip the assembly from the wires (theres only one clip and its facing the outside)
5) remove assembly and do these steps in reverse with your new assembly!

easy huh?

I was in a 09 maxima this past weekend, same exact start button as us, but it lights up orangy red

Might be easier then soldering 4 LEDs for some.

Nice... so no need to remove the trim panel at all?

I think the stock or bluish lighting would be better match for our car.
Our car combine luxary and sporty, but that buttom seems like its at the end of sportinesss. may be good for 370Zs but not G37s

NOPE. you just need to push out on that thing like you've never pushed before (the first time is extremely difficult). After that first time though, its really easy to pop out.

I think some sort of super light blue would look SWEET, the blue in the pic is a little too blue.
