I called two places and was told between $700-$800 for the install and alignment. A small speed shop quoted me $70/corner but no alignment.

The rears look very easy so I was thinking about having them do the fronts only and getting an alignment done elsewhere.

Ok so i tried the method without spring compressor. When i tried to loosen the main nut from the engine bay... the nut was turning with the rod that it's attached to so uh.. i gave up? Guess i'm going to have to get spring compressor and do this properly.

Hey man i used to live in SI just go to smaller shop man 300 dollars is ridiculous. theres plenty of small tuning shops in BK that specialize in nissans. IE 240's and altimas but i always see the hottest g's over there.

thats expensive. Allignment is only like 100 bucks...and the install DEF itsn't over 500. I'd say maybe 3 or 4

Actually that quote wasn't just expensive, it was bulls**t.

I found a local ASE certified mechanic that will install my Ark and Eibachs for $175. Then I'll just take the car to a good alignment shop.

So how did it go - did you end up using a spring compressor?
