DIY: Clutch Fix #2 - Oh what a feeling :)
#121
Just did the mod and I could tell the feel of the clutch is more familiar now. I've owned more than 4 manual cars in my life and my G had the most awkward feeling clutch. Haven't taken it out for a drive yet but will let you all know soon. Excited to finally drive my car the way I've wanted. Thanks for the DIY fix guys.

Lazochhuon, go order the replacement spring from Jsolo. He's still selling them, and he's a good guy to deal with.
Best $20 you'll ever spend on the car.

Thanks @Rochester, I ran into an old buddy of mine who actually ordered a couple springs (not sure why)... but was able to get one from him.
Appreciate you looking out.

I just did this mod. I'm 41 years old and have had nothing but manual transmissions since I was 16. I bought a 2010 G37S with 39k miles. The clutch was EVIL!! I started to think I was getting Alzheimer's cause I could not drive this thing right. Then I did the pedal travel mod. It helped some. Still had the knee shake and the clutch chatter taking off. How embarrassing. This mod has finally given me my car back! I really want to slap the dog squeeze out of whoever designed this clutch pedal.
