Easy way to prep grill for paint.
So I pulled my grill off yesterday to sand it down and paint it. (just a few rock chips over the winter, no biggie) As I'm about to sand it down I remembered how much of a pain in the a$$ it was the first time. So I go into the garage and look for another method. My eye catches my black and decker mouse sander (which comes with an attchment that looks like a finger)
So long story short it took me all of an hour to remove the clear coat and paint from the grill to start fresh again. I highly recommend this cheap tool for anyone looking at a DIY for painting your grill.
Hope this helps some people out and hopefully no one posted this already. My search showed no one did.

The better you prep it the less susceptible it is to rock chipping. I thought I sanded and primed mine well enough and I have gotten lots of chips. A body shop guy said my prep should have taken all the chrome coating off if possible and that would be less likely to happen.
