Well, I am not a handyman, . For my 2010 G37 sedan, I want to see pics of where I should go. Is it a bulb replacement only or is there a ballast to deal with too. Lastly, should I go HID or VLED? Thanks in advance for any kind of advice, .

Only time you deal with a ballast is the HID. I don't think you'll be able to reach the city or fog lights very well from the top, its a pretty tight fit for both

So the city/parking lights for a 2010 G37 Sedan are 7440 bulbs or 194? Need to get some mirror bulbs in there asap!

the fog light is the long tube like bulb (in the middle of the housing closest to the grille) and the parking light is the small filament bulb just below the fog bulb

I took out the parking light all together, I just have the HID and the option of turning the fog lights on. it makes the HID look cleaner while on by itself, and I dont live in canada so I dont have to have it. I will try to post pictures.

Unless you have a 2010 sedan, then the fogs are obviously in the lower bumper Name: Day1x-18.jpg

Went pretty smooth.... To change these fog lamp bulbs you need to remove at least the 2 closest bolts/screws on the plastic shielding of the engine bay (Below Fog Lamps). From there just pull back the plastic flap, squeeze your hand/arm up in there and turn the bulb to remove. I only removed 2 bolts as stated and so my wrists are a bit scratched up... an extra bolt may make this safer, but either way it's a quick 15-20 min swap. Pictures of new bulbs to follow.

Nice DIY Guide.

Is there anyway we can install the D2S HID bulbs without removing the bumper?

Yes, go thru the fender well. helps if you remove the wheel.
